Jesse Stone (Tom Selleck) is the police chief in the tiny little New England town of Paradise, MA
When the body of a 14 year old girl washes up on the river bank, he and his deputies go to work trying to unravel the mystery.
Stone discovers that the once straight-A student had started down a path of self-destruction and was estranged from her parents who never reported her missing.
As he delves deeper into the case, it brings the former LAPD cop up against the Boston mob and into the affluent world of a bestselling writer who exploits troubled teens.
I love the character that Selleck portrays in this movie.
It was originally made for tv series and Selleck co-wrote the teleplay.
Hubby liked it so much I bought him the boxed set for Christmas!
