Ok I want to know who told Kyle about my list... laughing ... 3rd week in a row he behaved. Am I on candid camera or something?

Saturdays race winner was Kevin Harvick
Sundays winner was Jimmie Johnson

2 mysterious cautions came out in the race. They called it a "glitch" with the system... laughing

Yah!  All that and Jimmie STILL won!! mad laughing

Scott --- I think your guy Gordy got a bad call from his crew chief that cost him the race. His car was HOT today and he probably should've won!!

I heard Danica put someone in the wall yesterday ---- I rest my case.  laughing laughing

Gordon should have won if his crew chief didn't screw him in the final pit stop. BAD call on his part.

Danica did not put him in the wall. The driver admitted he was running slower than everybody, gave her the inside, she took it, and HE came down in front of her causing her to put him in the wall and take them both out. He apologized for it and said he made a mistake and she closed up so fast he couldn't correct his mistake.  Tongue

LOL I for one am glad she is gone till June though. I can only hope she does not return to NASCAR, but she is under contract so she will be back to ruin the end of the season laughing

Well, I didn't say it was her fault.  All I said was.....I heard Danica put someone in the wall yesterday, and by your account she DID put him in the wall.............it just wasn't her fault.  Smiley Smiley

I think for as bad as she is doing, they should stop giving her all the attention. Little miss "I am so good at indy, nascar will be easy" now admits nascar is harder than indy cars....laughing

I do not like Jeff Gordon, but man he was robbed by his crew chief I think. He was FLYING all day long today, was lapping everybody, even top drivers. What was it like only 10 cars on lead lap, he was picking them off one by one. Hard to say, but I felt bad for him today.

Yah!

And I heard Jimmie and Chad get a little sideways too.  I don't think Jimmie has a clue what's going on half the time.  I hope he realizes just how lucky he is to have Chad Knause.

So, how do ya like "new blood" Keselowski?
He just tapped Carl, causing him to wreck out, damaging Kahne in the process. Not too bad though, as Kahne is now leading.  laughing

thinking what race is Froggy watching.

Carl admitted he came down in front of Keselowski, with not enough room and paid for it by getting tapped and ran into the 20 car which is Lagono, not Khane... laughing

I may get yelled at for this one, but I think Nascar should cut the field from 43 to like 35 or 30. That way only the best would race. I mean what is with the drivers who start the race, run 1-2 laps and then go behind the wall and call it a day? Those people should not be out there. Plus I think it would make better racing.

Ya mean how much pond juice has Froggy had? laughing laughing

I had a blonde moment about Kahne, BUT you also heard DW and Jeff say that Carl was being "very gracious" and they had a feeling the more he watched that replay, the more he would change his mind about what happened with Keselowski.  laughing

I don't  know about cutting from 43 to 30 or 35, but they definitely need to do something to cull some of these borderline (on the downside) drivers --- like Robby Gordon, Mikey Waltrip, and some others that need to hang it up.
Maybe up the standards to race from more than just qualifying speed/position .....factor some more stats in like # wrecks consistently involved in, # of wrecks caused by them, DNFs for the season...... i don't know?? laughing

Not just that, but even more.

Here is what I was thinking.... make it sorta like baseball.

Sprint Cup is the big dog of the Nascar series, then Nationwide, then truck series right?

So when they get to race in Sprint Cup, they either perform or get demoted back to the minors like they do in baseball, or fired...
I dunno just I feel that certain drivers need to be put back in Nationwide or truck series because it is obvious that they suck playing with the big boys, so go back to playing with the kids... laughing Just like they do in baseball.

It is SO ironic that you said that.  I had the phrase ---- "just like in baseball" in my previous post, but decided to delete it before i posted.  Smiley Smiley

I think WE are on the right track, but Nascar hasn't called me yet for my opinion ------- have they called you?? laughing laughing

Yeah they called me to tell me to stop with my harassing phone calls and letters or they would put out a restraining order on me. They said my ideas mean nothing to them and to let it go...

I've been wondering about this for quite a while now, so finally got around to googling it.

Just one of those things that made me  go hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Q -- What put Booty Barker in a wheelchair?
Ans -- A car accident while he was a Sr in high school
